Dementia Care at Parkside House

Dementia Care at Parkside House.

We have a secured area to provide specialised care for residents who have dementia.

We provide care for people who have dementia and have a special unit designated to care for these residents’ needs. Our trained staff provide care for these residents and ensure they maintain a good quality of life.

Understanding the needs of people with Dementia.

We know how to care for people with dementia and meet any special requirements.

Our fully trained staff work with the mangers to provide care and entertainment that ensure residents can maintain their dignity and have a high quality of life. We put together care plans for each resident to meet their individual needs.

We are not a nursing home, however we have a close relationship with and use the services of the community district nurses. We liaise with GPs and ensure residents have access to all elements of the NHS such as: - occupational therapy, physiotherapy, opticians, dieticians, speech therapy and continence advice. Our staff monitor the health and wellbeing of all of our dementia residents and will seek professional advice where necessary.

“The staff are absolutely wonderful. A very warm, friendly welcoming home. Parkside is kept very clean and tidy. The staff are always at hand to help in any way. My mother is very well cared for as are all the other residents.”
