About Parkside House Penarth.

An elegant Victorian house set in pleasant & attractive grounds.

Parkside is a sympathetically adapted Victorian House in Penarth that looks out onto the Bristol Channel. The home is set in its gardens on Park Road, with a large lawn at the front of the home and patios and a sensory garden to the rear. Park Road is a quiet road above Penarth Esplanade and within easy walking distance of Penarth town centre, with its shops, cafes, restaurants and library.

A family owned,
well-established business.

We have a Registered Manager and a Deputy Manager both of whom have have QCF/NVQ level 5 qualifications in leadership and management in health and social care.

They manage a team of staff – carers, cleaners, laundry staff, kitchen staff, an entertainment officer and a health and safety officer who work together to provide care for our residents in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The Manager has an open-door policy so that residents and their friends and families can discuss any matters they wish as they arise. As well as the Manager and Deputy Manager there is always a fully trained senior carer on duty.

All care staff have induction training when they begin working with us and are encouraged to take QCF training in Health and Care. Our staff follow a continuous program of training to ensure that they are equipped to provide residents with good care.

Staff are also supported in providing care and helping residents maintain their dignity by outside specialists such as nurses, chiropodists, opticians and dental hygienists.

"It gives me such peace of mind to know that Mum is safe and being so well cared-for by A, R and their team at Parkside House. The staff are, without exception, warm, friendly, caring and professional. They keep me informed and respond swiftly to any concerns. I always feel welcome when I come to see Mum and, at Parkside, our visits are more relaxing and enjoyable that I could have imagined"
