We offer an exceptionally high standard of personal care for our residents.

Parkside House has been operating as a care home since 1987. We provide a high quality of care for residents in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We provide support and care for elderly people (over the age of 60) and for people who have dementia.

Our priority is to support the health and wellbeing of our residents with a team of staff trained to provide a professional level of care to help residents experience a better quality of lifestyle while they are with us.

Parkside House is registered to provide care under the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016.

We are located in a conservation area set above Penarth Esplanade.

Both the town centre and sea front are in easy walking distance.

Every room has its own décor and residents are encouraged to bring any of their effects that will make them feel at home.

24 Hour Visiting

Family and friends can visit any time. We have the security of 24 hour care and the freedom to live as though in your own home.

Sensory Garden

We have a sensory garden which provides a safe environment where residents can freely enjoy a variety of sensory experiences.

Hairdresser Visits

Hairdressers, nurses and a chiropodist visit regularly. Should any resident need any other assistance or service we are happy to organise it.

First Class Food

We have two fully trained chefs who prepare good quality home-made dishes using fresh produce for our varied menu each day.

Daily Activities

We provide a variety of entertainment and creative activities such as games, art classes and singing for those who would like to take part.
